Meet Greg M. Frokjer, DDS
Dr. Frokjer grew up in the Northwoods of Northern Wisconsin. He attended undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa, being selected as the most outstanding graduate in both anesthesia and oral surgery. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Carle Foundation Hospital and Clinics in Urbana, Illinois.
Upon completion of his residency, he moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota and in 1989 founded the practice that would later change its name to Valley Oral and Facial Surgery. He established a new practice in Bismarck in 2018 where he currently resides.
Dr. Frokjer has a keen interest in implants and TMJ surgery. He is a fellow of The American College of Oral Implantology and The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
Away from his surgical practice he spends time with his wife and their two dogs. He enjoys various outdoor activities which include gold mining in the Bering Sea, operating heavy equipment, hunting, and fishing. He has a commercial pilots license and flies airplanes and helicopters.
